Hi, I’m Jen

I am the founder of Jen Gavin Web Design.

I‘m currently based in Aberdeenshire, in the North East of Scotland.

I’ve always had a keen interest in web design and while juggling the challenges of bringing up small children, I enrolled in an online web design course to fulfil my craving ambition.

My freelance business grew organically 6 years ago after building sites for friends and realising I was really quite good at it! Before long word got out and it grew and grew and Jen Gavin Web Design was created!

My sites are built using Squarespace. Squarespace is an all-in-one web design platform and content management system (CMS) used to build and host stunning websites, it is renowned for it’s ease of use, customizability and design aesthetics.

The sites are responsive which means they are optimised for tablets and phones, Squarespace also has fully integrated SEO tools built in.

I love using Squarespace to create beautiful, contemporary and unique but also functional and affordable sites.

  • smaller, basic sites can be ready within a few days, larger sites with more features will take longer but a duration can be estimated once started
